Dolphin Cruises
This morning tour is very popular with tourists and incentive / conference groups who visit the coast, because it offers a glimpse of an environment that the average visitor does not have access to. The cruises are conducted with ski boats or catamarans in Walvis Bay's protected lagoon area, where the water is calm and teeming with bird life.
Entertainment is provided by two kinds of dolphins, a large seal colony at Pelican Point, which has some nosey seals climbing onto the boats for a fishy snack, and wonderful photographic opportunities of seals and low-flying pelicans.
To round off the trip you will be spoilt with on-board snacks that include fresh Walvis Bay oysters and cold sparkling wine. Beer and soft drinks are also available at no charge.
